THE KNITTING FACTORY: BROOKLYN
Photos By Tes Uno Words By Aaron Hansen
They’ve been doing construction all summer. But the Knitting Factory is about to open right down the street from Boundless.
The original location on East Houston Street on the Lower East Side, moved to 74 Leonard Street in TriBeCa 14 years ago. The Knit was one of the better places to catch a show.
By scaling its capacity size down, owner, Jared Hoffman says “We want to do something smaller and more radical and more revolutionary again.” “In very exciting ways what we want is a return to the old Knitting Factory,” he said.
They still have some work to do, but shows are slated to start September 9th.
Check out the schedule here and make sure when your headed to Brooklyn to see your fam at Boundless NY, that you check out and support The Knitting Factory.
